Default 90 days ins

Arriving Vancouver on wednesday, just sorting out med ins for 90 day coverage, looking to use canadasure(£129,single cover initially).
Anyone else used these,or can advise another company of good standing, appreciate there is info on here, just wondered who people have used.
Also am aware to register with BC province scheme on arrival, for coverage after 90 days, where is this done.
Thanks
Mick

I used CanadaSure when I arrived - didn't have any claims.

Here is the form to apply for MSP coverage:

https://www.health.gov.bc.ca/exforms/msp/102fil.pdf

(Assuming you'll be applying as an individual - if your MSP premiums are paid by your employer see them about the paperwork)

Complete in full and attach copies of supporting docs as stated then send to the mailing address given on the form. I'd advise doing it asap even though coverage doesn't start straight away as it takes a while to process. Note that if you arrive this Wed (Nov 10th) coverage will start Feb 1st as it's remainder of month you arrive + 2 more full months.

Full info is here:

http://www.health.gov.bc.ca/msp/info...le.html#enroll

All the best :-)

You should also register for Fair Pharmacare - Provincial drug plan. It is not an automatic registration with MSP.
