3 points on license and moving to Alberta

3 points on license and moving to Alberta
Since British driving licenses are exchangable in Alberta how about those which have points on them, and the ones which are held for less than 2 years. Will Alberta still happily exchange them?

From my understanding, yes they do exchange and you restart with no points.

My husband had a couple of points on his license (got caught by a speed camera in Hull a couple of weeks before we flew out), and he had no problems exchanging it in Alberta...

Start over with a clean sheet. Although once you arrive watch the speed limits especially in rental cars. We have found they are much more likely to haul in rental cars for speeding than local plates.
