Out of interest, from memory that type of application requires ~$120k investment in a Canadian business?

Is there a specific kind of business you have to invest in: small/private/public - i.e. can one just buy shares in a company listed on the Canadian stock market, for example?

What kind of business(es) are you investing in? At what point do you actually invest.

I already have PR by the way, so just curious.
