Unemployment benefit
Hi. I am moving to NL with my boyfriend. He has (well-paid) work lined up but I will have to get on my bike when I get there and sort something out.
Until I find something, am I entitled to any financial assistance from the NL equivalent of the DSS and, if so, what should I do?
We're not going to be on the breadline, so it's not really an issue, but I am curious as to what the situation is.

Hiya Bettyboop,
As far as i know you wont be entitled to any finacial help as your boyfriend has work. And you yourself will have to have worked a minimum of 90 days to get unemployment benefit. This is what i was told when i came here.
Hope this a little help and wish you and your boyfriend every success.

Hi Betty,
Can you do anything remotely for a UK employer to help tide you over? This is my plan when I move.
