your silliest outfit

Re: your silliest outfit
Lol I know what you mean - Mrs Fife was her name and she taught needlework.
I remember Tammy girl and being able to afford stuff from there when I got my paper round. Trouble is by that age I didn't want to look like all the rest - I wanted to be different - so I used to go to jumble sales and pick up cheap clothes and then alter them into some cool classy style(or so I thought at the time)...once went out dressed in
A black bin liner
black ankle boots (nicked from my sis)
A belt made from paperclips
fishnet stockings (ripped)
and blue hair
OMG - I am blushing thinking about it....

OK - I'll post a pic!! Though this isn't my silliest by a long shot, but the only photo I can find at the mo. This was about 1983 (when I was 20!).

Oh gosh I remember those so well. Had several pairs with different coloured piping. I used to wear mine with matching hawaiian shirts!!
I think one of my worst stages was the "Princess Diana" look and a suit that I bought from an expensive designer shop that I thought looked fabulous but now looking back at the pictures I looked like I was going out in my pjs.
Oh and one more thing if this counts - a pair of Denis Taylor style glasses - what was I thinking

Funny how at the time we think we look so hot. Makes me wonder how we will view what we wear now - 10 years down the line.
