How much would you pay for a kilo of the golden fruit?

$0 - I hate bananas.

£1 on me local fruit stall

$12.99/kilo today. Bought two bananas. Pure extravagance

Don't eat them when they're expensive and not in season.

Bananas go black in our house but they keep being bought.

Freeze them and use them in banana bread. Doesn't matter if they're black.

Nah. I would be just about to chuck them in the bin (as the kitchen is my cleaning domain) when I'd be intercepted by a higher power and she would put them in the freezer for baking banana loaf at some later stage.

Haven't had any since being here. Must have lost the recipe.

As long as I let the bananas go black and keep the kitchen sparkling every day, I should be ok.

I might put them in the freezer rather than the bin. I'll try that next time.
