Don't eat them when they're expensive and not in season.

Bananas go black in our house but they keep being bought. :confused:

What does that mean exactly, that 'used' to happen in the UK but not here? Was there some magic fairy that did those things in the UK?

Nah. I would be just about to chuck them in the bin (as the kitchen is my cleaning domain) when I'd be intercepted by a higher power and she would put them in the freezer for baking banana loaf at some later stage.

Haven't had any since being here. Must have lost the recipe. ;)

As long as I let the bananas go black and keep the kitchen sparkling every day, I should be ok.

I might put them in the freezer rather than the bin. I'll try that next time. :thumbup:
