I will be honest I recently wondered if I was an alcoholic. I done a search and found this site. O.K its American but if you answer it truthfully you will be horrified :scared:

I was a might be as well.What sort of test is that, I mean nearly all the questions are a straight no but we can maybe all answer yes to one or two - cheers......

That would be an ecumenical matter.

A recent study implied as many as a quarter of the adult population in blighty have a drink problem.

The thing is, it only rears it's head when you try and stop. If the thought of going 2 weeks without a drink is something you don't want to contemplate - you have a problem.

I had issues with alcohol for years, but became free in September.

So, only once I drank too much and regretted it afterwards. Now I may be an alcoholic.

Yes, I couldn't afford a taxi to get home, I had to walk all the way. Two questions answered with a YES, now I am an alcoholic, apparently.....



It's easy to imagine that these are two honest answers, but these events happened some twenty years ago. I haven't been drinking since but according to this test I am an alcoholic.....
