- I finally had my thyroid operation

-Got promoted

Got new job in my company and kept my part-time hours and kids doing well and enjoying school

Didn't sell the bl00dy house

Lost me job mid year and haven't found it yet.


Spent a few days away with the missus on the Atherton Tablelands to celebrate our 30th anniversary.

Lets all remember to have a silent thought for those who already know they are going to have a shit 2011,the homeless,the sick,the unemployed,the mentally ill etc and the children caught in the crossfire of it all.

Separated from my husband

Got a new toy boy

I split with my husband after spending 15 years together

I got an 'all clear' on my health issues

I hope everything works out OK..positive thinking...its hard i know, but we cant give up...

looks like 2010 was a really bad year for a lot of posters on here.
i just hope things get better in 2011

I was thinking the same.

Last year will certainly be remembered by me for a year of upheaval/change/upset/stress.

I recall 2004 and that was a bad year too - but I still remain positive that we have to feel the 'bad' to really appreciate the 'good'.

And a phrase I use quite often - and it really helps me 'this too will pass' - try and google it.

Nothing remains the same good or bad or even indifferent. moments/people/emotions/feelings/situations etc - they never remain exactly the same. Everything passes - so when you are feeling really down - take peace from the fact that this feeling 'will pass' it won't remain with you forever.
