Default Working from home opportunity?

Hi,

I am looking for a genuine working from home opportunity - using the Internet as a means to make a few extra dollars. The Internet is full of thousands of these but most appear to be scams : (. Does anyone know of an at home opportunity that is not? I lost £60.00 in the UK when I fell victim to such a scam.

Please share if you know. THANKS

Sorry can't help with your question, was just wondering, having read your other thread, how things are going for you now?
Hope all is well.

WAHM is a good site which has genuine work opportunities. Don't know if you're male or female but it covers both.

Hi Sally,

Been separated a month now. I couldn't carry on anymore. The 3 children live with me and I won't be going back to work for another 12 months that's why I really want to do something from home. Most things I find on Google appear to be scams or it is gambling. I don't even have a bank card that works for Internet purchases (to gamble). Just as well. I would probably end up worse off...

Thanks for the concern though.

Well, very best of luck to you. It certainly can't be easy coping with 3 young children including a new baby on your own.

Can you type and do you have broad medical terminology? You could potentially make decent money doing medical typing at home. It's what I did for a short while when my kids were very small. Generally you need to type 60+ wpm but if you're slower you can practice a bit to gain speed.

Good luck.

Good idea Dorothy.

Lookto, you'll need a pedal - most of them ask that you have one.
http://www.pacifictranscription.com....dsetbundle.php - this sort of thing though you can get one via ebay for much cheaper.

That sounds great. I work from home anyway, not my own company though, I work for a big bank but I wouldn't mind moonlighting in the evening doing some typing... think I'll look into this too!

BE member Bridie works from home - might be worth asking her for some tips

Hope you get something sorted, keep us updated.
