Couldn't get into Scotland cos of the tight immigration legislation so went to Aus cos we heard the lettuce and bananas were cheap

i guess it was because I'd spent enough time over here to know mostly what to expect.

I think because I wasn't really here on "holiday" the last 2 times I was over. Lived with family in melbourne (croydon north) and just after Xmas had 2 weeks up in queensland then back to melbourne before going home. it was only those two weeks that i felt like I was on holiday. Rest of the time I was just looking after the kids and getting xmas over a done with!

i knew that by coming over here I'd get a bigger house (albeit a rented one when i owned back in the UK), I'd have a yard, and that generally the weather would be better. other than that I was just going with the flow!

[hi there again,we both had the idea that its better for the kids/careers over here as our main reason,take that away and you start doubting the reason you are here. because we can {BIC}which is not a good enough reason to stay.we gave up a good life in uk we were from the outskirts of london,then move to the south coast {new forest}for the last 6 years.I knew from this experience that you have to give yourself at lease 2 years to settle in.
