Redneck? If you say so but no more than you.
Foul mouthed? Definitely, as you are too.
Sense of humour? I reckon we both have that in spades, but we also both know that you mean everything you say about Australia and is what you believe.

We are all where we choose to be - this ain't North Korea.

Oh you have to be kidding. Went to see Bondi beach when we first arrived. Yuk. Having seen beaches all over the world I it in the bottom couple. Probably just below the builders sand pit opposite. After the dog has crapped on it.

And the area. Well, I suppose if Australia means pissed Brits puking and shops that make pound land look chic, then ok.

Don't let the rose tinted TV shows colour your thinking.
Or you could just knock some Aussie broad up on holiday and give it a whirl.

Seems to be working for me anyway.

I moved because my OH didn't want to live in the UK and at that time I was feeling like a change (even before the 'we are pregnant' phone call!).

I didn't have any real expectations or visions of Utopia and take it all as it comes. Some good, some bad. Miss some stuff, find other stuff.

I for one am never going back... My son, Who is intellectually disabled..., therefore has LEARNING DIFFICULTIES Will find himself welcome in many places here in australia according to some posters...

He even stands a bloody excellent chance of being meaningfully employed, even without a ****ing university education...

Its a great place for unpretentious people.
