Have you seen the state of most vehicles over 3 years on the road?

If you had to pass a MOT every 12 months surely the standard would be much higher.

Hubby is generator tech/heavy diesel fitter so is looking at the FIFO jobs but 2 major things 1. they almost all without fail say that motor mechanic quals aren't good enough and 2. they all demand Aussie trade quals as a mandatory (hubby is trying to get something less glorious through a UK agent and then develop once there)
There lies half the problem...Not in Australia yet, I'm sure you will have more success when resident here
