My EA rang this evening. Couple with baby that came at the weekend for a second view really want ours. They just haven't sold yet.
Tomorrow I am going to do serious research about a possible part x.

A big fat DITTO, thats exactly the boat I'm in at the moment. No viewers and a car boot planned for weekend. Boxes lined up ready to go. My estate agent has written stating they are now going into the rental market. Will make enquiries, starting to get worried about the time element now. Not sure how long these gas electricity checks are going to take, and any jobs they find... Might have to resort to back up plan if there are no queues down the street for my open hour next week.

Afternoon! The couple who put the offer in on Friday came back round on Saturday morning for a 2nd look, and they still want to go ahead!
I was so worried that they'd see something they didnt like that they missed the first time. We've instructed solicitors and so have they, fingers crossed for a quick exchange. We have been told it could be as soon as first week of Nov.
Any other news for anyone?

Last minute wobble today, buyer going into sign today with deposit (cash buyer) then exchange end of next week - EA rang to tell me this....... then I get home to a letter about those of us that don't have HIPS have to have a ECP (or similar) energy survey done if you don't 'exchange' before 1st October!!! which they tell me there are long waiting lists for......
Could she not have said on the phone the numerous times she rang yesterday instead of sending me a circular letter which I got at about 4.30 yesterday afternoon.... after some quick calls I hope our buyer is going to pay by bankers draft today so it clears instantly then we can exchange before 1st Oct........... major wobbles this morning, so close and yet so far away - Karma needed LOL
Last minute wobble today, buyer going into sign today with deposit (cash buyer) then exchange end of next week - EA rang to tell me this....... then I get home to a letter about those of us that don't have HIPS have to have a ECP (or similar) energy survey done if you don't 'exchange' before 1st October!!! which they tell me there are long waiting lists for......

Well at 9.10 this morning we had a offer on our house but sadly it was far to low
We dropped 20k this week for a limited time just for a quick sale but they have offered 15k under that
