Mr PP is working so I might go to the beach, not sure yet. Or perhaps sit and watch the Christmassy stuff on TV - Ill decide on the day.

Chilling out at home, eating too much & probably drinking too much

Potatoes sound nice but they won't go with seafood (IMO). what about some kipfler pots? Boil whole in skin, when cooked and cool to handle but still warm, peel off skin and slice into thickish rounds and coat lightly with extra virgin olive oil and freshly ground pepper - don't put in the fridge and serve at room temperature. Perfect
That sounds like it would go better, and damn easy

Got the Fish today, and sat it in the coldest part of the Fridge. Biggest Prawns I've ever seen, Scallops, Mussels, Baby whole Snapper. Just got the Mount Everest of tonights work to get through.... 2 hours early start and probably 3 hours OT in the morning dammit. God knows what the day back after Xmas will be like.
They probably wont be able to fit it in the Depot.Doubt if it will be cleared even then. They've got every person they can get hold of working at our place right now. I bet most of these manager types from HO havent been near a Postie in years LOL.
Xmas still feels a long way away to me at the moment.

Could, if you prefer, make a potato salad and have salads as sides. I did have a recipe for a german hot potato salad, but, alas have lost it. Maybe google 'hot potato salad'

I think the spuds with seafood BBQ would best be done baked whole in skins in tinfoil/alfoil under the bbq (or in an oven), split and heavily laden with garlic or herb butter (dill springs to mind) and slices of fresh lemon. Balsamic and rosemary might be a tad overpowering imo.

boxind day hubby has taken off as AL and son is not working so we are going to have our xmas day with pressies thne.
Have had a couple of offers to go to other peoples, but to be honest am really looking forward to doing nothing.
