Some crystal whisky tumblers from my (now ex) husband for my 23rd birthday, just after I'd given birth to our first child. :eek: Aside from the complete lack of thought, I don't even drink whisky (he did though). :ohmy:

On the birth of our first child my husband gave me a diamond tennis bracelet. For our second child he gave me a string of pearls. I think the strangest thing he ever gave me was a basal thermometer, but seeing how we were trying to conceive at the time it was kind of sweet.

Told Kev i wanted some new pyjamas for xmas.....

The shop didnt have any in my size.14/16 so he got me a 22/24!!!!!

So i wear them!!! and he gets the hump cos i figiting by trying to pull them up or straighten them up etc!!!

Worst present I ever got was at Christmas.

My mum gave me a Brita Water Filter, I wouldn't mind but my sister got a mobile phone.:ohmy:

my first birthday present from OH was a hairdryer and cd holder I expected something a little more romantic and said so.
next year I got fancy black lace underwear that was like wearing barbed wire!!

I hinted I liked swarovsky and got a fab necklace set, then a yuk brooch for the following years till I said please pack in the swarovsky

the absolute worst was face cream from my mother in law that had been in her cupboard so long it had gone rancid:eek:

my best presents ever were the first mothers day presents my kids went out and chose on their own spending their own pocket money on :wub:

My now hub got me a 4 pack of stella and a pack of cigs for my birthday one year. We were skint students though, so I let him off. I now leave websites up on the computer of the things I want for christmas etc. Also means I got a lovely engagement ring, which he chose 'himself'.
