Re: What was your worst ever present!!!
Our first Christmas after moving into together hubby brought me a microwave...............he thought it was an excellent pressie and looked pleased as punch when I opened it.
I dropped massive hints after Christmas that personal pressies were more appropriate and have had some lovely ones since. However........... on his 30th, 9 years later, I brought him a new iron and toaster...........right back at ya!!!!!!!!!! jacqui:D |

A book on sexual fetishes from my husband which my mother later found in my bookshelf.
Or the vase. I'm not sure which. |

What was your worst pressie ever...... at some point during the year I apparantly voiced to the old man that I really needed to get a decent alarm on the car .... so he got it for my 30th birthday:blink::confused: I really need decent toilet paper too but I hardly expect a pack of that for my chrissy pressie! men are crap - just give me the money and I'll go get what I want! |

Generally more like dont buy a woman somthing for cleaning or cooking. Because a prezzie is suposed to be somthing to enjoy like a gift voucher for a massage.

My worst:
A vertical cd holder that mounts to the wall. I wouldn't have minded it except that it was shaped like a giant flamingo and was bright pink. I have always hated pink, so my mother should have known better. Plus I had to fly back to university so the damn thing wouldn't fit in my suitcase. It was almost 10 years ago now and it's still at my moms, I think she got the idea! One of my best: Before we left Canada my husband bought me a Roombah, one of those little robotic vaccum cleaners. I loved it, mostly because it meant that it was less work for me! |

I am hoping for a wizz bang ice cream maker for my birthday next week.
As to the worst present: Our last Christmas in the UK springs to mind. My MIL gave me a glasses "case". It was made out of thin cotton cloth, i.e. offered zero protecion to any glasses one might put into them. On top of that, I am a contact lens wearer - put them in when I get up, take them out just before i climb into bed. (MIL is generally not a nice person ...) Gina |

Been looking for one for ages. If you get one, I'd be interested to know the model and where you/OH got it from ;).

Re: What was your worst ever present!!!
One christmas I mentioned to the hubby that I fancied a pair of black leather gloves.
Christmas morning, I open a pressie from him - cool, black leather gloves. The family turn up for christmas dinner, after food we sit down to open pressies. Oh look, my sister has bought me a pair of black leather gloves, at which point my sister in law says oh, I'll find the receipt - yup, another pair of black leather gloves. My mother comes to, hands me her pressies - FFS do I really need ANOTHER sodding pair :curse: Everyone else thought it really funny  |
