Yeah, I've started going for a walk at lunchtime every day.

I love that I've made some of the best friends I've ever had here. Most of them are on the other side of the country, but that's ok. I also love that I've got a job I enjoy that pays me well. I love that my husband and daughter are happy here. I don't love that I'm so far from family when they need me or I need them.

No spinifex in this one and the red doesn't seem as red in the photo as real life!

Space (more elbow-room for the $), Brisbane winters, wildlife, colours that are vivid ... a blue sky that is BLUE, playing cricket all year round, an inferiority complex that is SO easy to wind up.

I like the fact I can go fishing in the kayak all year [in the warm].
The diving is great right on my doorstep, no need to fly.
I can drive on the beach & fish from the Ute.
I can be out bush in 20 mins, in rain forest in 20 mins or at the coast in 40.
The river is at the bottom of the hill I live on excellent Bass fishing.
We can go camping & leave the tent & it's still there when we get back.
The fact I can go to an international: Cricket, Rugby or Rugby league for less than the price of a prem football match.

Very forward thinking really because in another 100 years when all the oil has run out we'll be back to using ox carts again

The sky....blue, spectacular clouds, stars.
The colours of everything.
Wallabies and koalas in our very own backyard.
Seeing a new plant, animal, bird, insect just about every day.
Never wearing tights.
Fresh fish and fruit.
Talking to anyone.
No judging on appearance.

Blue sky
Enormous, tall trees
The smell of the gum trees
Koalas
Kangaroos at the end of the road
Kookaburras
Swimming in the warm sea for several months of the year
Lack of light pollution
The cute geckoes and stunning blue tongues
Having skin that doesn't itch and crack and flake all the time

Yeah I forgot about the skin thing, my kids had eczema both now have excellent skin. I worked outside all winter in the U.K & my fingers would split & crack, no more of that either

Now it's just the damn heels that have cracked skin lol

I'm sitting in my backyard listening to countless birds and watching gorgeous vivid colours of sunset over the estuary... Gotta love that!

I'd like to second the stars, I somehow forgot to mention them, awesome.
