It shows you what song was at No.1 on the day you were born.

(Go to 'Birthday No.1' at the top of the site, it’s free, you don’t have to log in).

My number 1's are:
'Ben' by Michael Jacskon in Australia
'You're So Vain' by Carly Simon in the US
'Long Haired Lover From Liverpool' by Little Jimmy Osmond in the UK

Some are better than others!
It only goes back to 1950 ................. maybe the top of the charts hadn't been invented when I was born................ guess there wasn't one for HMV cylinder discs or old 78's?

I remember them too. They must be way too young to be on this part of the site - surely they should be in the Youth Club

No 1 on my day of birth was

'Mouldy Old Dough' by Lieutenant Pigeon

In Australia it was

'Popcorn' - Hot Butter

I remember how that one goes

My parents signed a form giving me permission to use this site Alot of it seems to get filtered out by the parental filters though, so I don't think I get the full BE experience

I think you're right Wendy, they should be banished to the youth club for being so ridiculously young
