Well Acer have changed their returns policy now & I have to drop the PC at the local post office. Hopefully it'll not get lost this time.
I've lost a few months invoicing & tax that I'd like to have recovered. Trouble is Acer send their PC's back formatted so everything is lost. I've tried to read the hard drive this morning by connecting it to mine via a USB to sata bridge, the drive still spins yet it doesn't show on my PC. If I click the properties of the bridge I can see the details of the drive but that's the limit of my IT skills. Anyone know how to get my pc to read the drive, there's no way to set the drive to a slave or master as that little jobbie [technical description] that one would normally use to bridge the pins is missing
