What do you keep in the fridge?

When we lived in the UK I'm sure we didn't keep things like jam and fruit in the fridge...
What else do you now keep in the fridge in Australia (because of the warmer weather) that you didn't need to refrigerate in the UK?

The rellies in Sydney keep their bread and fruit in the fridge and she is quite insistent that I do the same, but other than soft fruit such as berries and grapes, I haven't really had the need to, but they would be kept in the fridge in the UK too.
When we move, this may be a different story

Pretty much anything that has been opened - did this in the Uk too. diligent about using it up before opening new ones. I also keep my body cream and face creams in there. Nice and cool to put on after a hot shower

I only keep things in the fridge that ever I used to in Britain. I hate keeping jam in the fridge, I can't bear cold jam on toast. Bread in the fridge ? Not on my watch.
I just don't like open tins of things in the fridge, I try and have good 'stock rotation'.
Cool moisturising lotions can be nice though. Some people put nail varnish bottles in the fridge. I have heard of people putting tights in the fridge

Bread - outside. Jam - you name it.
I also put chocolate in there - I like cold chocolate - can't stand it soft - and my wife also likes it hard.

Jam in the pantry, fruit in the fruit bowl, mayonnaise in the fridge, ketchup in the 'Cake Hole' along with the bread - all exactly the same as in the UK.
(Well, I didn't have a pantry in the UK, jam had to languish in a cupboard.)
Food doesn't have time to go off in this house.
The only exception to fruit in the fruit bowl is grapes. Those I hide behind anything I can in the fridge a) because I like cold grapes and b) because I like to give myself a chance to eat cold grapes.

Always keep fresh batteries in the fridge.
