Yesterday morning I planted some new tomatoes, capsicum, red onions and dill to replace some of the finished crops in my garden bed. Then cleaned the pool and weeded the front lawn. By lunchtime when I went in the house I could barely move my neck or left arm they're so burnt. Baked a loaf of fruit and nut bread for the family and BBQ'd salmon steaks & potatoes for dinner.
Today is a clothing-optional day so I'm sitting in a silk nightgown because it's the only thing I own that doesn't hurt my back or arms. This morning I went for a 30 minute run on the treadmill then made curtains for our bedroom so we can finally after 18 months in this house get rid of the crap vertical blinds in there. This afternoon will be making meatballs and putting together the menu for the coming week before doing my online shop at Coles. Tonight will be a nice long swim before bed. I spent the whole weekend gardening, whilst hubby put in some new drains and reconcreted the back patio area. |

Last night I ate squid for the first time and my stomach swelled up, I felt hot, sick and horrible all night, woke up this morning with a rash on my neck and my throat swollen/puffy when I swallow as though I have tonsilitis (I have no tonsils), I dont know if its the squid, I cant eat mussells or stuff like that, so god knows what it is but I feel shite and my stomach is sore (probably the gym has helped with that one).
So today, I have done bugger all but wonder if I have an allergy or Ive picked some other nasty bug up. |

Today, I are mostly been flushing out the central heating system. We have some cold nights forecast. First time in 30 years I've actually dealt with this job BEFORE it turns cold.
Had Red Banana Prawns on the BBQ for dins. :thumbsup: |

Did the shopping early then put the motorbike on the drive to sell it. made lunch sat and sweltered for a few hours whilst trying to read in the garden gave up came inside and put the air con on had friends round for a barbie
tomorrow will be much the same but with earlier air con :thumbsup: |

Fun, fun, fun at my house this weekend. This morning I went for coffee with my friend and her beautiful 7 month old baby. Then I went and spoiled myself a little by buying a new iPhone. Came home and shaved my golden retriever down to help him cope with this heat a little better, and if I'm 100% honest it was also to help control the knots so I don't have to brush him, then read 2 chapters of an incredibly boring textbook. Am now considering going for a swim before bed.
Tomorrow is laundry day and a neighbour is coming over for drinks in the afternoon. Oh, and I need to wash my car in the morning before the sun hits the driveway. |

Had a long 'discussion' with Tiddler about homework, cleared up the kitchen, read the last quarter of Wuthering Heights, searched high and low for the chickens, nearly passed out, acted as a taxi, had a kip, acted as a taxi, cooked dinner, sat and slobbed, oh and acted as a taxi again.
Tomorrow much of the same except I don't think I'll be searching for the chickens again, they know where home is. |

Ate takeaway noodles and had a few drinks by the pool. I'm now exhausted and off to sleep in my own bed :wub: |

Woke jp with hangover from hell, went to freo to have the monobrow sorted at zubias, did a bit of light grocery shopping at the chinese indoor ... Markets and peaches... Had worlds BEST steak pies, fell asleep in the pool on a donut, went to a mates birthday party (thanks if yer reading this.. It was a lovely night out) drove home... Logged onto BE to catch up on the goss...

Went to the hairdressers yesterday for my cut/foils, came home, melted on the sofa. Got called out to a snake pick up, came home, drank some wine and that was that.
Today I shall do housework and then go to Freo to pick up my inhalers from the chemist and then get stuff ready for work tomorrow I guess. |
