Didn't like 39 particularly but apart from that, can't think of a 'good' one unless I count the years I had the girls. Unfortunately I think I've got to the age when every year previous is seen through the rose tints
Crap stuff has happened but hasn't made the whole year bad.
Sorry, doing my serious reply to a lighthearted question again. Must stop doing that

I would have to say this is my best year so far (i'm 26) I am more honest with myself and with others and for the time I have actually enjoyed being single and living my own life. Hopefully this won't be the best in my entire life as i'm looking forward to an even better year when i move to Oz in 2009!!!

Happy Birthday!!!!!!!!! I hope you have a good one!
Well, I have been 24 for almost the past 36 years so I guess that was a good year for me (got married when I was 24). Not looking forward to turning 60 at all but I will be in UK with my folk at the time and maybe one of them will send me to Paris for the day just for the hell of it. OTOH I will begin to get seniors discounts so cant be all bad!

I loved my 32nd year! Made a load of new friends, shed about 2 stone in weight and got a fab job...
Now... remind me why I left there??????
Am 37 next year.. tis my "scary age"... always felt like when I get to 37 I was a grown up... oh well, still have 8 more months of being a teenager

At 16 I started to earn some money and buy records when I wanted rather than saving for months, and started going to the pub.
At 18 I went to uni and had some real fun.
At 32 my brother died
At 36 I emigrated to Aus, made many great friends and took up some great hobbies.
Turning 30 didn't bother me, although I had a wobble at 29. I'm 39 this year and again having a mixture of "do it all while you still can" / "time to start looking after yourself a bit more" thoughts so that I will be ready for 40 in March.

As for mid-life crises, it's best to manage them in bite-sized installments. Have a little one once a week ;-)
