OH always has an aisle seat - make sure you request one - if there are four of you travelling you will probably end up with the 4 middle seats anyway - not always but usually.
OH has just said he found the legroom ok on sing air and he's 6ft 2
thanks for that Deb. There are 5 of us going as MIL is coming too. We have already booked our seats online they have a 3-3-3 formation so we have 3 central seats and 2 on the left so all in all we have 3 aisle seats.

not too bad then, make sure you book the children's meals - food is ok actually, they normally have a noodle meal and an english type of dish (fish, meat or chicken) can't remember if they have a veggie option, but you may have to book this is you require it

Will they already know from the booking that there are 2 children travelling?
Not bothered about vegie dishes. I actually quite like aircraft food. Better than what our patients get dished up in hospital!

well they know that there are children on board, but you have to prebook their meals - as on most airlines they don't do it for you

I tried to book meals but it just came up as standard meals

Will have another look tomorrow.

Are you having any luck finding the info for your friend?

i'd give them a ring - may be easier.

yes found an expats site for singapore and some info on international schools out there.

i'm going to have go now as my eyes are straining a bit too much - we've only got the main lights as the lamps have gone really notice the difference.
I'll see you tomorrow

or perhaps, if you're in here where I can keep an eye on you, then the world breathes a sigh of relief?

And there the world below don't bother me, no, no

So when I come home feeling tired and beat
I'll go up where the air is fresh and sweet
I'll get far away from the hustling crowd
And all the rat-race noise down in the street

On the roof, that's the only place I know

Where you just have to wish to make it so
Let's go up on the roof

And at night the stars they put on a show for free
And, darling, you can share it all with me
That's what I said
Keep on telling you

That right smack dab in the middle of town
I found a paradise that's troubleproof
And if this old world starts a getting you down
There's room enough for two
Up on the roof...
