We need to decorate the house first Mandy and then hope to put it on the market sometime after christmas. FIL has said he wants to buy it, but I won't hold my breath. Ideally would like to be out before my daughter has to start secondary school next Sept.

i wasn't last week to be honest, but I'm chilled. I had a great weekend and have finally resigned myself to that I probably won't get a girls night out for a very long time and that we as a family are going to have to do more family things - just need to get OH to see this point of view!!!!!

one of my girlfriends looks as if she is going to be moving to Singapore or at least 2 years which is great news, due to her OHs work. they may even be in oz after that.

Right I'm off to bed guys, its the OH's birthday tomorrow and i have planned a full day of bugger all for her so gotta get some kip! Its been special!!!!

When we finally get over our eldest will be just leaving primary school.
Seems logical to do that.

hubby has organised a plasterer to come in Nov and hopefully we will get decorated in time for xmas. We are planning on selling this place in the new year. (depending on hubby's next posting)

going on a reccie/validation holiday on 27th oct for 4 weeks and hope to be out for good next year sometime before september.

Saw your reply on the inflight entertainment thread Deb....what was the leg room like with Singapore.....not a prob for me as I'm only 5ft 2, but hubby is 6 ft.

same as me then, not a problem for me - being short has it's advantages - just like I told Gedge the other night.
OH always has an aisle seat - make sure you request one - if there are four of you travelling you will probably end up with the 4 middle seats anyway - not always but usually.
OH has just said he found the legroom ok on sing air and he's 6ft 2
