My parents are very old fashioned so i have to watch what i wear, they even comment on my make up and ear rings. they disaprove of my hubby so i have to be careful what i say as well.
I went with them last year to Rothbury along with my sister and we didn't get to go the coffee shops.(they had a flask)
Seriously i might convince them it is nice to have a treat and hopefully it will go ok.

John's parents always take flasks along everywhere too, even if they are just going to the supermarket! If John and I are going anywhere with them, I get my own flask because I am the only one who has milk in their tea
They carry enough food with them to survive a nuclear disaster as well. I'm not sure how they are going to survive being on holiday for 3 months and having to buy food in cafes etc as they go

WOW that sounds like a fantastic trip, both my parents and in laws have had the SAGA books with cruises on them and i know both would enjoy a trip like that. Ive always fancied a trip to Hawaii my self i think the tv prog Hawaii 5 o had a lot to do with it
My parents didn't even manage to visit me in Germany when we lived there said it was too far. My in laws would love an exotic trip like that.I guess they will have to keep doing the lottery
