Overcast with the odd speck of rain. Kids went to school with pac a mac's on.
Has warmed up since this morning.
Im missing the sun already. Wonder if summer has finished already

We're supposed to be back up nearer the 30's next Monday but that can all change !

we had rain last night - had to rush and get the washing in ! Wasn't much though. You ?

I hope it does pick up for the boys when they are at Arran. They just love playing out there with the cousins at the beach or the massive garden my in-laws have.

lucky you mandy. My mum's having my two for a week in August and I'm worried I'll get bored. I'm booked in for my hair but that's it at the moment

Normally when the boys are on Arran, im snowed under with OU assignments and spend all my time doing that.
So for once im having a proper break, loads of time in the gym and if hubby gets a couple of days off we will nip to the lakes or something.
As i know when i get back from Oz in Oct i will be back to studying.
It's lovley having time to do what you want to do for a change

True, but it happens so infrequently that I never know what I want. I can't shop as we can't take any more stuff with us and we're supposed to be saving !

i remember when i first had a weekend with out the boys, while hubby was in the Gulf. I found it so strange an empty house apart from the dogs. I went on a long walk, phoned a friend up and arranged to go for a meal.
i even stayed up late and watched a film the best bit was the lie in the next morning. Pure bliss
Me and my sister often head to the Metro center and still manage to come away with having bought very little. For me it's more about just being me and getting out and about and not really about spending money. As we are saving as well.

I've been asking around my mates but they're all busy with their kids and, if I don't have my kids I don't particularly want to be around other people's !

Mind you, it's still a couple of weeks away - it may still come good and, as long as I'm busy every other day, I can sunbathe if it's nice.

I love lie-ins but hubby gets up at 5am and thinks we should all do the same so makes lots of noise

that is a man thing mine does that too - slams wardrobe door and when i complained told me off for a having a go

Hello everyone, just popped in to ask for a huge bucket of ice to stick my feet in - actually sod it I'll have a bath of ice and stick my whole body in!

Jeeze it's hot today, my little un is off to football in a bit - poor thing he's going to be so hot. Mind you it's trophy day today so he's very excited

Oh and I've finally sent off our visa application today YIPPEEEEEE!!

Now where's that ice....
