I couldn't imagine having any more and I'm only 34, it's hard enough when you are young and have the energy for it !!

Yeah, I didn't have my eldest until I was 31, but then I never married until I was 29 - having too much of a good time before hand

that reminds me i mean to watch that 18-30's programme was that on tonight

It gets me as to why these women who are in their 50's and 60's get pregnant! Now that is complete madness!

mmm. brings back memories of an 80's pop group with baggy trousers lol.

i suppose it depends on circumstance, a lot of my friends from school had children early - while I was off on foreign hols and generally having a good time. the friends that i have now - most of them had children in their late twenties/early 30s - mainly because of their jobs

I know some of my friends from school have kids in their 20's. I just can't imagine that! My best friend at school got pregnant with her first child at 17. I was so sad for her cos the relationship she had with the childs father was doomed from the outset. Once she had the baby we sort of drifted apart because we were both doing completely different things. Very sad!

Most of my friends have only started having kids over the past 5 years. it was like when we first got married i was just over 20 and they were foot loose and fancy free but i was happy to be married. When i met my OH while i was at 6th form and he had just joined the army our friends thought we were mad.
