Aston, trust me, there is no link between quakes and the full moon....any more than between cyclones and the full moon, or tornadoes, or herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically across the plain.......If there was, people in jobs like mine would have more time off and a much easier life.

I'm going to go with false.
Although the Christchurch earthquake happened around the full moon, I don't think anything happened on the next full moon. I suspect some people have drawn the conclusion that if something happens around the time of the full moon (plus or minus 7 days) then it's because of the full moon but in reality that's half a lunar-month and there's a 50% chance something will happen in that time.
The moon is squeezing the earth all the time. Although the squeezing is slightly increased at full moon because it is in line with the sun, the squeeze is slightly more again at new moon as it's in line with the sun and on the same side of the earth as the sun.

'Oh, I must be psychic, I was just thinking about you and you rang' may be true.. but how many times have they rung you when you weren't thinking about them or you were thinking about them and they didn't ring?
Yeah, I know you said it was false anyway, its just a handy post to quote against

What's the odds on 14 million to 1? I'm thinking of having a go on the lotto soon as I've been getting some good luck and good vibes lately.
