Car finally shit itself today, right on the other side of town on one of the busiest roads in Adelaide. Saw a tow truck in the pub car park on the other side of the road and thought I'd chance it and ask the bloke if he was on duty. Amazingly enough as I got there, the driver in his high viz roars at me "I seen you mate, where are we headed?". He'd just finished his schnitzel and saw me out the window. What a diamond bloke he was too.

Ah the joys of living in a small town.

Downside - transmissions f**ked and Im not fixing it.

Its quite an experience having no car, I feel.............free.

can't get the gas fire to light
blown bulb in the ensuite, but 4 others work
toilet has no basin in it, and peeling paint where the roof leaked- (roof is fixed now but need a reno for the loo and haven't the cash to do it)
leaves on the patio- every time I clean up more of the buggers fall down so by the time OH gets home it doesn't look like I've done anything.
