Probably the worst computer I've owned. Only lasted 4 months before keys came of, broken and not replaceable without a new keyboard, then other hardware started going wrong. Ended up with the charger connection broken off inside the socket, just outside of warranty.
On that basis not for me.

I bought a Lenovo thinkpad from the USA last year. Cost me $1500, same spec here was almost $4k
I've karma'd you the name of the guy I bought from in case you want to take a look. I had the laptop within a week and it's been fabulous.

My last two laptops have been Toshibas and I'd happily get another one tomorrow.
The only issue I've had has been with the latest one - the power cable is an extremely dodgy fit.
Himself's last two laptops have also been Toshibas - the one he's just bought is an Asus and he has declared himself extremely happy with it. I think the only reason he changed was because, for the money, the Asus was a much better specced gaming laptop and I wouldn't let him have an Alienware.

No luck with them. Ours packed it in, shortly out of warranty. Sons gf packed it in, under warranty but WOW went bust and repair turned into some nightmare.

Got 2, for wife & I, and been perfect for 2 years. Had a keyboard replaced due to a glass of wine mishap and pleasantly surprised to get it back with no charge. They say Tosh has the best customer service after Apple... think I'd agree...
