When you say you cannot find them do you mean when you are doing a name search? I find that streets only come up when the exact suburb is selected and even then not always where I expect them.

give me an example of a street and a suburb that you are missing. As per the previous poster, it could be that you are entering an Alias suburb name. Most people when referring to a suburb name use the Australia Post suburb name (example: West End or South Bank in QLD). The data that is included in all NavTeq maps comes from govt sources that use gazetted govt authoritative names only. These names often do not match the Aus Post suburb names. West End and South Bank do not actually exist in govt gazetted suburbs, they fall under the suburb of South Brisbane. These Aus Post suburbs are referred to as alias localities. So if you are using one of these for a search and NavTeq do not provide the alternative alias name for a suburb then it will not be able to find it.

If you give me an example I can look it up for you in the gazetted suburb list. My job is to produce maps that compete with Navteq and Whereis so I have access to all this info

when i have reached those destinations, they have appeared on my maps, but if i have searched for them beofre i set off, i can't find them.
