I'll probably get myself one for Christmas. my Galaxy Nexus isn't going to get Kit Kat and I want Kit Kat.

There is a Geek loved rival to the Nexus phone.... This one.

327 USD... for 64gb and a faster phone.

Highly respected brand this one.

If you get it from Google, it will be a white one then - the black is out of inventory for deliveries in the next month at least, White is still available.

My delivery is now back to wednesday - caused by the HK warehouse not getting their finger out to get the boxes on the plane in time, and some old nags running round in a circle on tues.

Nah, **** it. it's time to move on. I don't want to miss out on OTA updates!

I'll wait until I can get a black one.

I usually get a new phone every year, and for the last 2 have got a Samsung Note. Had a look at the Note 3 and although it has some nice new features, they are not enough to tempt me to buy

Smartphones have hit a bit of a plateau and are all pretty much the same at the moment. I'll wait till next year

I'm not going 4G until it comes down in price to 35 dollars for all you can phone, sms and 5gigs like my Aldi plan.... till then I'll live with 3G... Not sure I have a issue with 3G anyway, seems to work fine to me.

The 15 extra dollars a month is well worth the wait time. No 4g. No Nexus for me

The Nexus 5 *HAS* 4G - kind of the point. Only limitation is for the bods in Canberra with the weird Optus 4GPlus network.

I've bought a white 32GB - first ever smartphone, looking forward to retiring my old Nokia.

They are sold out, all memory sizes, all colours.

That means it'll be at least the end of the month before they're back in stock is my guess.

Shiny has arrived - hot foot from Hong Kong. Not bad for a Friday order of a new phone.
