Tattoo Removal Cream?
Has anyone had any experience of tattoo removal cream?
Does it work - or is it just a scam?
The brand i've heard of is TatBGone.
I'd appreciate any views on this subject, Cheers, L-j

Surely to get to the tat, the cream would need to burn down through several layers of skin? Sounds mighty painful.

The only way to remove a tattoo is to have it lazered off, many sessions, much pain - hurts more than having the thing done in the first place - so it takes a lot of time.
Either that or have that section of skin removed and a graft put in it's place - major pain with that one as well.
A cream will do sod all.

If you want to 'remove' the tattoo because you don't like the design anymore - you'd be better off getting a cover-up job done on it - make sure you go to a really good tattoo artist though, as they can look worse than before otherwise.

Not from personal experience but go with Moneypens advice and get it Lazered. I have seen it performed several times and the results are very very good. Most creams available break down the epidermal layers and have been known to leave scar tissue from burning. Which one were you thinking of trying?

Never heard of it.
Maybe you could have a cover up done??
Lazer is very very painful according to a mate of mine who's had several removed!!!
it'd take years for mine to be removed so think i'll just have some more!!
Cheers'en.

Really, I don't see how a cream could penetrate as deeply as a tattoo and then break down the permanent inks. Perhaps talk to a dermatologist about whether or not it will work before spending a shed load of money on something that probably will not work.

It's not that i don't like the design - i just want them removed. I've heard lasering is expensve....but what's the alternative................long sleeves in the Queensland heat for the next 40 years

I've got right arm sleeved, left arm nearly there, back, front and legs done and had no problems...tons of factor 30 and i'm out in it all day!!
Just got to find the right shop and i'll be on for some more.
Some Ozzies give you a bit of a funny look as it's a bit unusual, but i don't judge anyone for not having them.................

No I love mine and seriously considering another one. A close friend did the classic stupid thing of putting his girlfriends name on his shoulder. Went through more hell getting the thing removed than he did in the relationship and that ended up pretty bad
