Hi!
Been living in Sydney now for 3 years and have been living around Newtown/ Enmore/ Stanmore for that time. We really enjoy the area but have to be realistic about our long term future and dont want to be renters forever so we looking to move further out.
Does anyone have any suggestions for some outer suburbs that still manage to keep a bit of the feeling of the inner west?
We have made trips out west to Liverpool, Homebush, Campbelltown etc but the town centres have all been pretty disappointing and from my outside perspective, look a bit rough (no offence meant if anyone is from those areas, I am sure there are more to them but just difficult to see if you arent from there).
Ideally we need somewhere with a decent trainlink, a bit of soul to the area and would prefer not to live in complete suburbia (ie rows of houses without a decent main street with a couple nice restaurants).
Cheers in advance
