I browsed the food prices at Woolworths today.... Yikes! A medium sized jar of Nescafe = 8 UKP, a lettuce = 2 UKP. Everything seemed to be twice the UK price!:eek::eek::eek: ...And elsewhere a "chock ice" iced lolly = $4.50  |

I've taken a cursory look at that already and it doesn't look good. So the progress update so far is I'm going on a massive diet, will take strongly to "grow your own" and will invest in a two-seater sidecar for my motorbike . ....Next?

Well, for today at least, I have to agree with the folks who say the butcher is cheaper than Woolies... lamb chops were $45 a kilo in Woolies and they were only $42 a kilo at the butchers..... bargain !
