Surgery on Wednesday - eek!

Please don't remind me.
I was released from hospital the same day as my citizenship ceremony, complete with a tube from my belly and one from my whizzer, both leading neatly down my left hand trouser leg to a polythene bag tied to my calf.
It's difficult - trust me - to chat sensibly with the mayor with a glass in one hand and nagging doubts about the integrity of a full, warm plastic bag in your mind.

Too much information, perhaps?

Why are you being done at Bently? I would have thought Joondalup would have been much closer to home. And a much better (newer, cleaner, nicer) hospital. For that matter I would go to RPH or Charlies long before Bently. But then that's just me; I've had surgery twice at JHC and work at RPH.
