Re: Summer equals grumpy.
The problem is that what one person likes, the other loathes and it's all depends where you live. If you live inner city you are not likely to get sea breezes so humidity is higher.
We've lived in Bris for years and don't experience anything like the humidity some people experience even when humidity is high. Because of the sea breeze we don't feel the humidity and the only time it *feels*humid is for a few weeks at the height of summer which is to be expected. Most of the time it's all year round beautiful sunny skies and lovely weather:thumbup: |
Re: Summer equals grumpy.
Very true, we now live in a house on an elevated ground the breeze we get almost every afternoon makes a huge difference no matter how hot. (And our alfresco gets the full sun from midday until sunset!)

Like you say it all depends where you live and what kind of house and whether you're a hot or cold climate person. |
Re: Summer equals grumpy.
I do love hot but the afternoon breeze works wonders, so far haven't touched the air con as opening the windows allows great breeze through the house, right at the time when schools and work finishes. I can't believe how big of a difference it makes, 15 yrs here and took 13 yrs to find the right house!

Sometimes, just briefly, Summer is beautiful !
Like this afternoon when it hailed. The air was so crisp. Lovely. |
