Summer equals grumpy.

I know it's not just me.
The hotter it gets, the grumpier people are. I've even heard that assults increase in the hot weather.
It's horrible hot already - two weeks from the start of Summer - and I'm afraid to go out because all this hot stinking weather is probably about to turn into a hot stinking rain storm all over a weeks worth of washing.

The temperatures are in the low 20's at the moment and my Canadian mother in law who arrived a few days ago from where it is just above freezing, is complaining about the cold in SA
.I think she will be happy when it gets to 40C

I feel better in the summer also. Sydney is a summer city and comes alive more between Nov - March.
Also find that I have adjusted more to the heat now. When I first arrived I would find temps close to 30c sweltering. These days it has to get to 35c before I get a little uncomfortable but then Sydney summer climate isn't actually all that hot. Sure we get a day or two of very hot temps but a southerly change is never far away.

I agree!! My arthritis in lower back has created havoc since May, I went through winter without being able to work, first time in years. The heat is finally kicking in, lots more sleep and full of energy. The hotter it gets, better I feel
, but then again, I've always chased the heat and sunshine since I was a kid!
As for people being grumpy, I think you see what you feel, all it saw all winter was grumpy people, now that I'm upbeat, energetic and happy, that's all I see around me!

Yeh, but the women wear less.
In some cases this is a Bad Thing but I'm willing to overlook this.

I like mid 20's for the summer, once it gets into the 30's it is horrible.
