Singapore.....
There was a 101 things to do at singapore airport, which has some other activities outside the airport... you'll find it http://britishexpats.com/forum/showt...05593#poststop there.... i was v bored that day! I stopped off in SIN a few years ago but the hotel we stayed in was slightly dodgy (peninsula excelsior) - although could be MUCH better now! Am stopped off again in about 3 weeks, staying at the sentosa resort. booked through Singapore Air Stopovers, $122, will let you know what I think. |

It is a nice city though, the towers look fab at night and its much cheaper than Singapore (singapore dollar v ringgits) the shopping is fantastic, lovely park and bird gardens to take kids round. :) |

We done the same as you Possums, I think I'd try Singapore next, the drive back from KL city centre through the jungle in a tropical downpour with a vomiting three year old and a nine year old screaming she needs the toilet put us off doing it again !!
Heard Sing. airport is fantastic. |
