STOP OVERS IN SINGAPORE

Re: STOP OVERS IN SINGAPORE
I would happily recommend the Marina Mandarin hotel in Singapore. We've stayed there three times now. If you have kids their "family room" is two interconnecting rooms (one double, one twin) and it's cheaper than booking two rooms elsewhere. I've always got the best rates by going direct - the last time I haggled by e-mail and got a serious reduction on the price I was first quoted.
Thanks

Re: STOP OVERS IN SINGAPORE
Hi Nic, yes that's what we did. The room is nice and big with twin beds and plenty of room for a cot. They don't charge extra for a cot either. My daughter is now 4 but loved sleeping in a cot when we stayed there last November so when we stayed recently we rather cheekily asked for a cot (we knew from before that they're big enough) to avoid paying $70 per night for a roll away bed! It's a real nightmare trying to find hotel accommodation once you have 3 children - everything seems set up for a neat 2+2.
