Tragic news ...looks like it wasn't drugs, suicide etc, but natural causes :(

Re: Stephen Gately

Although boybands are as far away from my musical tastes as you can get (well, apart from C&W...) I admire Stephen for his decisions to live his life being true to himself, and to him and Boyzone for having the balls to put out a music video that, IMHO, really illustrated this and also paved the way for others.

He was a role model in how to get on with your life with no compromise but equally no fuss or attention-seeking.

RIP.

Nothing wrong with pushing a piano players stool in for him when he's not able to do it himself is there ?

You'd all have sod all to say had he been hetro. Make jokes by all means but as his sexuality had completely sod all to do with his death the jokes aren't jokes, they're just mind numbingly purile comments.

I'm with obama, so where it was "don't ask, don't tell" he now wants questions & answers as if it makes a difference between hitting your intended target or missing !!
As hetrosexuals just go about their business without the desire to proclaim their straightness to even employers on job applications, gays want everyone to know their sexuality, even when it (I'll use part of your quote) "sod all to do" with anything other than their persuasions.
