Form 80 is the character assessment form which you as the applicant will have to fill in. It asks for details of your parents, siblings, any criminal convictions you may have, every job you've ever had, every holiday you've ever been on etc. I recall it was a bit of a 'mare remembering all the dates etc

Neither did we. The check lists said that it was only required if requested.

Oi oi!!! I will correct you.... Well actually not correct you, but tell you what I was told....

It's down to the date of police check, OH's visa was granted on the 6th Feb & we had to validate by 31st May. Is it a year from the date of the PC? I honestly can't remember requesting the PC that far ahead, but I suppose we must of !

Don't listen to Rach, she's probably half cut most of the time... (likes a glass or 2 of wine does our Rach.... )

Yeah I think you get 12 months from whichever is earliest - the date of your police check or your medical. (I hope I'm right thinking this, as I'm about to have my medical and send in for my police chek but we don't want to go until next summer!).

OH worked on the basis it was best to fill in all forms if front loading in case they asked after app in and delayed things-we filled in a settlement form (886? i think) as well in case.

Hello!

They requested from 80 from us, but I think that is because my husband is dodgy no, just because of the pcc's but if I'd have thought before hand, I would have front loaded it as when they requested it I stressed out!! (you'd never have thought I'd stress out would you now?? )

Dodgy husbands club

Well I think even if they have no intention of requesting it, it won't hurt to front load it really would it? (I am actually asking the question!)

It didn't affect our application to include it without request-I think better surplus info than not enough anyway.
