I'm still here too. Been really enjoying hearing how everyone's been doing with their applications. Can't wait till we can put ours in (but got to wait a few more months yet).

Hope you'll all still be around to answer all the questions I'm bound to have when I'm finally ready to submit it all!

Well we'll get it all ready over the summer and I imagine send it off in October maybe? Our trouble is we're getting married next June, and want to move to Brissie after that (maybe in August), so can't apply too soon because of the 12 months from medicals/police check rule.... (if you see what I mean?!).

You're applying in the summer aren't you? I'm so nervous already.... (and trying to plan the application plus the wedding at the same time is a bit scary!)

I think ours took about a week to 2 weeks as we had an e-mail from the place telling us that blood tests were all negative and sending it to Aus house, I'm pretty sure it wasn't any longer than two weeks.

umm I've not heard of a spouse visa being rejected. I mean I guess if someones been to prison or if they've got something wrong with them medical wise then it could be rejected, oh and of course if the relationship is fake lol I mean if clean police record and all meds fine, you shouldn't have a problem. My OH record wasn't exactly clean (although spent - still showed) I was worried about that but everything is fine as we got our visa in a week!
