Blimey, are you MI5? My fb is set to private so you can't see my profile or who I'm friends with unless I add you or accept you. Only friends can see my pictures too.

I must admit to having a "clean up" every so often, it gets to the 250 friend mark and you realise you haven't spoken to these people in 10 years never talk to them on facebook and you get inundated with their status updates and "stories" about them. So once in a while people get the chop.

I have a Facebook page and a lot of the friends I do not know very well. The reason I have the page is so I can communicate with my kids if they are away overseas etc.

The sending of pokes and things is not me.

I like the idea but probably twitter is better for personal friends I am a member but none of my friends are.

I have deleted a friend I did not know and I have been deleted as well I did not mind as I am useless at the whole thing

Nope, just had my identity stolen twice and I do not want to be found by old school people that I have no desire to be contacted by.

People make themselves easily accessible, give out an incredible amount of information even their mobiles.

Personally for me, I choose who I want to see me and what I want them to see.

Gosh that identity theft sounds full on! Never met anyone it's actually happened to.

Have a look at my profile, I have pics on there from my daughter's graduation/formal last night *mum gleams with pride*

Edit: I've actually put a couple of pics on here: http://britishexpats.com/forum/showthread.php?t=577993 if anyone is interested.
