Snakes in the grass...
1 Attachment(s)
Snakes in the grass... in fact just seen my second snake, which may have been the same snake, in the space of two weeks.
It's definitely active season for them at present. Pic of last weeks attached, was unarmed today so was unable to get follow up photo to compare. It would seem to be an Eastern Brown as not as narrow a neck as a Tipan. Out of curiosity, and as I've now figured out how to do one on the new style expats site, I've attached a poll of how many expats have seen a snake since getting here. |

Sure my friend has a lizard in her house, she calls it a gecko then says it the size of a beer bottle, far too big for a gecko.
 I have decided to use the Hoover in future. |
Re: Snakes in the grass...
Three metre long red bellied black snake whilst out bush walking on the hill near here. I prodded it with a stick because I'm clever like that.

lol - aye - funniest thing was, my mate was there poised with the camera to take a photo of it (hence the prodding stick) - but it moved so fast that we both shat ourselves and all you can see on the photo is this blur of greenery ... :D
