Yep, I have had two callouts already, the first one made me laugh, a voicemail on my mobile - a lady with a very strong oriental accent saying 'I saw a snake in the forest 3 days ago, can you come and look for it and one time in my garden I saw a tiger snake' 
And one of our guys at work had his dog killed by a dugite last week
Last year I was mightily pissed off by people calling me out for a snake that they had seen 5 days prior - like it is going to hang around and wait for me.

Actually, think it's fly day. Haven't seen a fly for months. (one advantage of crap weather). Cut the grass today, attacked by flies.
