You don't need patches, books, gum or hypnotism. None of these things are any use if you don't want to give up but just think you should.
The key is to want to give up. Do this before you give up. Then you just become a non smoker, realise you are ill for a couple of weeks while the nicotine works its way out of your system and then you'll be fine.

Bit depressed now, I am almost certainly in the latter category. Will persevere though, is fab not smelling of smoke. Right, bring on the cakes and pies!

yeah me too - I was very surprised by how helpful it was to me but I am ok with not smoking around my smoking mates now so Im pretty happy now, all I've gotta do is shift the weight I seem to have accumulated....
