Maybe that's why several people found the need to comment on how delightfully behaved our 4 year old was on the flight back from KL yesterday.

She watched TV, slept, did not kick the seat, did not whinge- we thought this was normal but others felt it worthy of comment.

On one Ansett flight years ago they sat me next to a woman with a baby.

They served breakfast, she started breast feeding.

I left my meal untouched, to the sound of “slurp slurp suck”.

The baby then vomited the breast milk back all over my suit. Went down great at my 11am meeting.

The hold is too good. They should be tied to kites and dragged behind.

(Nope - I don’t have kids.)

I've voted but my kids are very well behaved in public so would be fine I'm sure.

Just wish they could behave like that behind closed doors

Today's peeve: (on public transport) middle-aged gents who laboriously thumb their way through the Herald Sun with the tip of an index finger, moistened afresh with each page. Reading age of 10.

Should be burnt along with their shiny suits.
