Shopping at Woolworths - 5% discount
I have been reading the blurb on my RAC renewal and you can buy Woolworths essentials gift cards at a 5% discount, so a $500 card is $475

With a family of 5 I think I might start doing this as we could save a lot of money. You can use it on fuel too.

Really? I shall have to look into this. I wonder if they will give me my 5% staff discount on top?....don't see why not as it would just be a gift card. Interesting, thanks!

I'm trying to think of how they'd get round this, and I can't think of any reason why you can't, they'd ask you for your everyday rewards card at the end of the transaction, so you'd just hand your card over - same thing.

It's definitely available in QLD if you are an RACQ member. Can't add a link because I'm on my phone but I looked it up yesterday through the RACQ website.

I didn't even realise that I could get discounts because of my new shiney RACQ card! I've been for a look and there are a fair few that would be of use if only I had some money
